Hobart is the capital city of the Australian island state of Tasmania and is situated on the far southeast coast of Australia. Travel around the roads of Mount Wellington and see captivating scenery while you’re on your way to the top. The mountain’s summit sits at around 22 kilometers from the CBD of Hobart and before you actually reach it, you will see a comfortable picnic area named “The Springs”, and an enclosed lookout which can offer you a great view of Hobart and Derwent River. Several walking tracks surrounding the mountain would assist you to hike or stroll around. Mount Wellington is likewise the last stop-over of the “Point to Pinnacle Fun Run” on November.

 

The Royal Tasmanian Botanic Gardens, which dates back in 1818, is considered as the 2nd earliest botanic garden in Australia.
